$2000 NSW Fertility Treatment Rebate

If you live in NSW and have been considering IVF treatment, there’s a great opportunity to save on costs. The NSW government provides a Fertility Treatment rebate to assist with expenses related to IVF and other Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatments.

Since 1 October 2022, women in NSW who undergo eligible fertility treatments can claim a rebate of up to $2,000.

What’s included in the NSW fertility rebate package?

Those who are eligible will benefit from:

  1. A $2000 rebate when undergoing IVF treatment in NSW
  2. An extended rebate for pre-IVF fertility testing
  3. If you are a teacher, nurse or other NSW public servant, you will receive five days of paid fertility treatment leave.

The rebate can only be claimed once per individual.
