Having trained initially as a social worker 25 years ago, Susan has worked in child & adult mental health and family therapy throughout her career. She has been in private practice for 10 years, with a significant portion of her current work involving fertility counselling for those undergoing fertility treatment.

Susan continues to be involved in professional development in the field of reproductive mental health and is currently undertaking one of very few postgraduate training opportunities available in the field with Dr Sharon Covington and  Dr Linda Applegarth. Sharon and Linda have worked extensively in the field as directors of mental health services in large US fertility clinics, as well as contributing authors and editors of widely used literature on fertility counselling.

Susan is an accredited mental health social worker, enabling her to see clients using a GP or psychiatrist-referred mental health care plan. She is also registered to provide rebated sessions under the non-directive pregnancy counselling scheme. Online and in-person appointments
