With over two decades of experience and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the LGBTI+ community, Dr. Bronwyn Devine is a passionate advocate for inclusive fertility care. A/Prof Devine is known for being a kind, compassionate, and caring doctor who strives to work collaboratively with her patients and support them from pre-conception right up until the birth of their baby and beyond.
Having completed her medical degree at The University of Sydney, A/Prof Devine worked at Westmead Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women, obtaining her RANZCOG specialist qualification in 2002. She spent over 10 years in Canberra then returned to Sydney where she has a private practice on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and lower North Shore.
As a strong advocate for inclusive family building, A/Prof Devine is deeply committed to making fertility services accessible to all individuals and couples, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. She is particularly passionate about improving access to fertility services for LGBTQI+ people and has worked tirelessly in education and service delivery in this area for over a decade.
She understands the challenges and complexities faced by the LGBTQI+ community on their path to parenthood and is dedicated to providing sensitive, inclusive care, and support every step of the way. A/Prof Devine is proud to offer a comprehensive range of fertility treatments and services tailored to the LGBTI+ community. This includes donor cycles (eggs, sperm, embryos), partner IVF, surrogacy services, and more.
She is also an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Macquarie University and has teaching hospital appointments at RNSH, Northern Beaches, and Bowral Hospitals. Additionally, she is a Visiting Medical Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mater and North Shore Private Hospitals in Sydney.
