Dr Lieberman joined Rainbow Fertility in August 2019 after 16 years as a fertility and miscarriage specialist at Genea. Dr Lieberman is the Medical Director of City Fertility New South Wales clinics.
Dr Lieberman was born in New York City and obtained her medical degree from The State University of New York. She completed her residency training in Washington, DC, before obtaining a Masters of Public Health at Harvard University while working in a faculty O&G practise at Harvard Medical School. In 1997, she moved to Sydney.

Dr Lieberman is passionate about fertility health, and as a renowned fertility specialist is very active outside of her practice. She also handles all aspects of LGBTQ+ fertility treatment, from egg and sperm donor cycles to surrogacy. Whatever your situation, Dr Lieberman and her team take a considered approach taking your individual circumstances into account.
Dr Lieberman was President of Family Planning NSW for12 years and also served on the Board of Sexual Health and Family Planning, for 2 years as its President.
She was a Director of the Fertility Society of Australia for 8 years and its Vice President for 2 of those. She also spent 17 years as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Menopause Clinic at Royal North Shore Hospital.
Dr Lieberman often writes and speaks about fertility-related issues to both professional and consumer audiences. In 2016 she published ‘Empowered Fertility’ which she wrote in conjunction with Claire Hall, a life coach. The book provides readers with information and support to address physical, psychological, emotional and social challenges that arise when dealing with infertility and IVF treatment.
Dr Lieberman works with a small team of dedicated nurses and scientists who provide highly personalised care in a state-of-the-art IVF facility that offers the full range of assisted conception services for LGBTQ+ couples and individuals.
