Dr Eleanor Egan completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2005. She underwent specialist training as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne. In 2014 she undertook further specialised training in fertility and IVF as a fellow in the Reproductive Services Unit and earned a Masters in Reproductive Medicine (with excellence).
From 2014- 2021 Dr Egan ran a busy private practice as an obstetrician and fertility specialist before returning to QLD to be closer to family. She is experienced in all areas of infertility, with a special interest in miscarriage, PCOS and medical disorders that may affect pregnancy.
Attentive and caring, Dr Egan believes in an individualized and holistic approach to patient care to help you achieve your fertility goals. She provides additional support through early pregnancy to bridge to the gap between fertility and obstetric care.
Dr Egan is proud to deliver all facets of LGBTQ+ fertility treatment, from donor cycles (eggs, sperm and embryos) to surrogacy.
