With decades of experience providing gynaecological and fertility care, Dr Neil Astill is well known for his commitment to exceptional patient care. He is a qualified and trusted specialist and is dedicated to giving you the treatment, time, warmth and compassion you deserve.
Dr Astill graduated from the University of Queensland Medical School in 1972. He spent seven years working throughout Queensland, and has also worked with the Royal Flying Doctor Service as well as in South Africa and England. He returned to Brisbane in 1980 and has been running a successful private practice since 1982. Dr Astill expanded his private obstetrics and gynaecology practice in 2002 to include fertility care and assisted conception and has been working with City Fertility since 2009. Dr Astill is the Medical Director of Sunnybank, Toowoomba and Gold Coast City Fertility Clinics.
He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1982 and a Fellow of the Royal English College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1994. He completed his Masters in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility with the University of New South Wales in 2019.
Dr Astill is proud to offer all aspects of IVF and fertility care to his patients to ensure they can achieve their fertility goals. He holds a passion for all aspects of infertility and reproductive disorders, including male factor infertility, recurrent IVF failures and recurrent miscarriages.
