She graduated with an honours medical degree from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland, in June 2002. She completed her internship at one of the largest tertiary teaching hospitals in Dublin (Adelaide and Meath Hospital) before moving to Australia in late 2003.
Dr Lee always knew she wanted to pursue obstetrics and gynaecology as a specialty career. In 2007 she began her specialist training, which she has completed. During her extensive training in Queensland, Dr Lee has worked at the Logan, Mater Mothers’ and Rockhampton hospitals.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
Her obstetrics practice includes the management of pregnancy (both general and high risk), labour and postnatal care.
Dr Lee provides general gynaecological services, which include management of menstrual disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, laparoscopic surgery, fertility problems (infertility assessment and treatment), pelvic pain, abnormal Pap smear, incontinence and menopause.
She has a special interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and performs advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) procedures for benign gynaecological conditions.
